The C.T.N contains all the details of the shipment, such as the bill of lading number, description of the cargo, the parties involved (Importer, Exporter, Forwarder, Shipping company), value of the goods, etc.
The C.T.N provides optimization of maritime operations and cargo tracking. It allows African states and actors in the trade chain to benefit from reliable information and anticipate the time of arrival of goods. The C.T.N offers African authorities harmonization of their Import / Export strategies and prevention of cargo flows.
Certificates can have different names. Above are the abbreviations of the certificates and their corresponding countries
The C.T.N must be requested by the exporter or his forwarder at the port of origin. Prices at destination are more expensive I.B.B strongly recommends that you subscribe the C.T.N before the goods leave the Port Of Loading.
